ITEC 2010 is All About Tires
he learned about the expanded
format. “VMI has been partici-
pating with ITEC from the first
event in 1994. My opinion is
that it’s the only U.S. show that
over the years has really focused
on the equipment side of the
tire industry, and it’s always
been a good opportunity for us
to show new developments to
our customers. When asked two
years ago about the new format
for ITEC, we quickly decided to
participate as one of the corpo-
rate sponsors. It’s important for
North America to have a show
that encompasses the different
aspects of the tire industry
under one roof. ITEC will do
that by getting the distribution
side of the industry involved,
thus bringing in a wider variety
of attendees.”

Every aspect of the I-X
Center is designed to enhance
the attendee and exhibitor
trade show experience. The
attendee parking area is just
steps away from the main
entrance to the show.
According to Jermey
Levine, director of events for
the I-X Center, “we have
everything you need right
here under one roof! With a
large variety of options,
there is sure to be something
to please everyone. The ITEC
Food Pavilion offers many
different serving eateries
including Greek, Italian,
Mexican and the all-
American favorites! The
Fresh Market Café offers
cafeteria style entrees, as
well as salads and wraps.
There is plenty of seating to
accommodate both small and
large groups in the Food
Pavilion, which has seating
for over 1,000 guests.”
The Performance Tire Café is
a themed white tablecloth
restaurant allowing attedees to
relax in a different atmosphere
until they are ready to go back
and enjoy the show.
ITEC 2010 at the I-X Center
is unlike any trade show said
Levine. The wide open exhibit
area has great sight lines. The
conference program presentations are in large comfortable
rooms. And Internet cafes provide relaxing Internet access.
“We have watched millions
of visitors come through the
I-X Center doors over the
years and are always pleased
to see them walk out with a
smile. Whether it be a family
event, a consumer show, or a
trade show, we strive to make
sure you enjoy your visit to
the I-X Center and leave with
all your expectations fulfilled,” added Levine.
